Remarks: An intensifying low pressure system southeast of Cape Breton Island will pass east of the Maritimes by this afternoon.

High waves and storm surge may affect Antigonish County and Cape Breton Island today. This may cause some minor coastal flooding and overwash on north to northeast facing shorelines near high tide, from near noon to this afternoon.
