
Snow, potentially damaging winds will impact Ontario on Monday
Significant snowfall expected beginning early Tuesday morning.
Locations: most of Newfoundland.
Total snowfall: 10 to 15 cm or more, especially on the Great Northern Peninsula and Baie Verte Peninsula.
Maximum wind gusts: 80 to 100 km/h or higher.
Time span: Tuesday.
Remarks: Snow is expected to spread across Newfoundland on Tuesday, in combination with strong southeasterly winds and blowing snow. The snow may change to rain or freezing rain over southern parts of the island during the early-afternoon. Conditions will improve Tuesday afternoon or evening.
