For Hurricane Epsilon.

Summary of basic information at 9:30 p.m. NDT.
Location: Near 32.2 North 61.5 West.
About 310 kilometres east of Bermuda.
Maximum sustained winds: 140 kilometres per hour.
Present movement: North-northwest at 15 kilometres per hour.
Minimum central pressure: 968 millibars.
Hurricane Epsilon will enter the Canadian Response Zone on Saturday but is not expected to have any direct impacts on Canadian land areas other than some ocean swells along the south-facing coastlines of Nova Scotia and Newfoundland. Some rain from a developing trough of low pressure well ahead of Epsilon will spread over southeastern Newfoundland Saturday evening, but the center of Epsilon will track well offshore near the southeastern corner of the Grand Banks early on Sunday bringing gale to storm force winds to extreme offshore waters.
The Canadian Hurricane Centre will provide another update on Epsilon by 9:30 PM NDT Friday.
