
Potential blizzard setup on the Prairies ahead of Arctic air blast
Snowfall with total amounts of 25 to 30 cm is expected.
Locations: northeastern New Brunswick.
Time span: Tonight through Sunday afternoon.
Remarks: Areas of northern New Brunswick will likely see 15 to 25 cm of snow and ice pellets with this system. However, the highest snowfall accumulations will occur over parts of northeastern New Brunswick where amounts of up to 35 cm are possible by Sunday evening. Gusty easterly winds will develop overnight and give blowing snow over exposed areas.
Additionally, higher than normal water levels are expected along the coast near high tide Sunday evening.
