Additional rainfall: 5 to 10 mm.

Locations: northern New Brunswick.

Time span: Until mid morning.

Remarks: Rain over northern areas of New Brunswick will taper to showers this morning then change to flurries. Strong westerly winds will usher in much colder air later today and temperatures will fall to between minus 10 and minus 13 tonight.


Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads. Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible.

Rainfall warnings are issued when significant rainfall is expected.
