Significant snowfall expected tonight and Sunday.
Total snowfall: 20 to 30 cm.
Locations: north and western New Brunswick
Time span: late this afternoon until early Monday morning.
Remarks: Snow and strong winds are expected to spread across parts of New Brunswick late this afternoon and continue through the weekend. Reduced visibilities in blowing snow are possible over exposed areas. Conditions will improve on Monday.
Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow.
Snowfall warnings are issued when significant snowfall is expected.
