Extreme Cold Warning

Air temperatures in the minus 30 to 35 degree range combined with 10 to 20 km/h winds will produce extreme wind chill values of minus 40 to minus 45 tonight into Monday morning.

In eastern Saskatchewan, extreme wind chill values will moderate Monday and may return for some Monday night into Tuesday morning.

In Manitoba, extreme wind chill values will moderate slightly during the day on Monday, but will return Monday night and for the next few nights thereafter.


Extreme cold puts everyone at risk.

Watch for cold related symptoms: shortness of breath, chest pain, muscle pain and weakness, numbness and colour change in fingers and toes.
