Severe Thunderstorm WarningIssued at 20:40 Friday 29 May 2020
At 8:40 P.M. Doppler radar indicated a line of severe thunderstorms capable of producing very strong wind gusts and locally heavy rain. The thunderstorms are moving east at 45 km/h.
Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are likely to produce or are producing one or more of the following: large hail, damaging winds, torrential rainfall.

Conditions are favourable this afternoon and evening for the development of severe thunderstorms that may be capable of producing strong wind gusts, large hail and heavy rain.
Strong wind gusts can toss loose objects, damage weak buildings, break branches off trees and overturn large vehicles. Remember, severe thunderstorms can produce tornadoes.
Severe thunderstorm watches are issued when atmospheric conditions are favourable for the development of thunderstorms that could produce one or more of the following: large hail, damaging winds, torrential rainfall.
