Rain expected to continue this evening.
Total rainfall: 60 to 90 mm for most regions, except up to 120 mm over northern sections of Metro Vancouver including North Shore Mountains and Pitt Meadows, and up to 150 mm near Squamish.
Locations: Metro Vancouver - Central, North Shore and Northeast, Howe Sound, Whistler, Pemberton, Sunshine Coast near Gibsons, Fraser Valley - West including Abbotsford and Sea to Sky Highway - Squamish to Whistler.
Timespan: This evening.
Other risks: Elevated freezing levels and snowmelt may contribute to increased runoff.
Remarks: The third atmospheric river in just under a week will continue to bring rain to the south coast of British Columbia. Additional rainfall amounts of 10 to 30 mm can be expected before the rain tapers off late this evening.
Heavy downpours are likely to cause flash floods and water pooling on roads. Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible.
