Snow is expected tonight and Sunday morning on Vancouver Island and Metro Vancouver southwest including Richmond and Delta.

A cool airmass and low pressure system are approaching the BC south coast. Snow is forecast to begin tonight and continue into Sunday. By Sunday afternoon snow will become mixed with rain in many areas.

Potential snowfall accumulation varies from 2 to 4 cm for the Richmond and Delta areas. On Vancouver Island, snowfall amounts are forecast to range from near 2 cm on the coasts to 5 to 15 cm inland and over higher terrain.
