Snowfall with total amounts of 20 to 30 cm is expected.
A Pacific frontal system will move across the BC interior tonight and tomorrow. Light snow this evening will become heavier overnight and continue into Sunday. Total snowfall accumulations of 20 to 30 cm can be expected by later Sunday before the snow changes to a few rain showers.
Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow.
Weather in the mountains can change suddenly resulting in hazardous driving conditions.
