Special Weather StatementIssued at 03:37 Saturday 18 January 2020
Snow and blowing snow over the weekend...
A low pressure system will track across Southern Quebec and is expected to give 10 to 15 centimetres of snow between Saturday afternoon and Sunday afternoon.
In addition, moderate to occasionally strong easterlies will cause blowing snow locally, mainly in exposed areas near the St Lawrence and Ottawa valleys.
The snowfall, reduced visibilities and cold temperatures should make for poor road conditions and difficult travel conditions.
