Hazardous winter conditions are expected.
A total of 25 centimetres of snow is expected for Quebec City, but 30 to 40 centimetres could fall in the Charlevoix, on the North Shore and along the northern shore of the Gaspé Peninsula.
Snow will change over to ice pellets and possibly freezing rain in some parts of central Quebec.
In addition, snow, at times heavy, combined with strong winds, will reduce visibility to near zero in blowing snow.
Visibility will be suddenly reduced to near zero at times in heavy snow and blowing snow. Poor weather conditions may contribute to transportation delays.
