Special Weather StatementIssued at 11:23 Tuesday 28 February 2017
Another round of mild weather with rain through Thursday.
A weather system from Central United States will bring mild weather to Southern Quebec beginning today. On Wednesday, rainfall amounts between 15 and 25 millimetres are expected with this system over some areas north of the St. Lawrence River, while regions south of the river will receive 5 to 10 millimetres.
Rising temperatures combined with the rain will bring a more rapid melting of the snow with possible impacts on watercourses.
