Special Weather StatementIssued at 04:20 Tuesday 28 February 2017
More mild weather with rain through Thursday.
A weather system from the Central United States will bring mild weather to Southern Quebec beginning today. On Wednesday, rainfall amounts between 15 and 25 millimetres are expected with this system over some areas north of the St. Lawrence River while regions to the south of the river will receive 5 to 10 millimetres.
Rising temperatures combined with rain will cause the snow to melt faster than usual, which could affect water levels.
