Winter Storm Watch

Possibility of significant snowfall amounts in these regions on Tuesday.

Snowfall amounts could greatly exceed 15 centimetres near the St Lawrence River and to the north of it. Precipitation will begin on Monday night as a mix of snow and ice pellets. There is also a possibility of freezing rain south of the St Lawrence River and in the Eastern Townships.

There is still some uncertainty as to the exact track of the system. More details about snowfall amounts and the types of precipitation will be provided as the event draws closer.
