Winter Storm WatchIssued at 04:35 Monday 22 January 2018
A winter storm approaching from the American Midwest could bring heavy snow, blowing snow and possible freezing rain to the eastern tip of the Gaspe peninsula and the Lower North Shore starting Tuesday afternoon. Snowfall amounts could exceed 30 centimetres before conditions improve Thursday.
Poor weather conditions may contribute to transportation delays.
Winter storm watches are issued when multiple types of severe winter weather are expected to occur together.
