Special Weather Statement

Issued at 21:58 Monday 27 February 2017

More mild weather with rain by mid-week.

A weather system from the Central United States will bring mild weather to Southern Quebec beginning Tuesday. Rainfall amounts between 15 and 25 millimetres are expected with this system over some areas north of the St. Lawrence River on Wednesday.

Rising temperatures combined with rain will cause the snow to melt faster than usual, which could affect water levels.
