A return to snowy weather on Tuesday.
A Colorado low will affect Southern Quebec on Tuesday. Snow at times heavy is expected to start off on Monday over Southwestern Quebec. The snow will then move into the central and eastern parts of the province Tuesday afternoon and evening.
Snowfall amounts of 15 to 25 centimetres are likely north of the St. Lawrence River as well as over the Lower St Lawrence, the Gaspé Peninsula and the North Shore. Greater snowfall amounts may be possible over higher elevations.
Strong winds and blowing snow are also expected over a number of regions, mainly along the St. Lawrence River and over the Gaspé Peninsula and the North Shore.
The poor weather conditions could lead to transportation delays.
