Environment Canada is monitoring a weather system that will spread snow beginning this afternoon. The snow will mostly affect areas just north of the St. Lawrence Valley, the Ottawa Valley towards Charlevoix through the Laurentians, Lanaudière, the Haute-Mauricie and the northern region of the Quebec City area. An accumulation of 5 to 10 centimetres of snow is expected over these areas.
