Higher than normal water levels with large waves are expected near the coast.
Storm surge warning
Coastal flood warning issued jointly by Fisheries and Oceans Canada (Science) and the Meteorological Service of Canada Quebec Region on 2017-05-26 at 3:10 PM EDT.
A low from the Gulf of Maine will bring strong winds to the above mentioned regions. The combination of strong winds and the fact that we are currently in a period of high tidal range could produce coastal flooding along the coast near theses localities, on the dates and at the times specified (Eastern Daylight Time).
City of Québec: 2017-05-27, from 06:30 AM to 09:30 AM.
Coastal flooding is possible along the shoreline.
Storm surge warnings are issued when water levels pose a threat to coastal regions.
