Special Weather StatementIssued at 23:25 Friday 17 November 2017
A strong low from the southern United States of America will affect Quebec beginning on Saturday.
Regions near and south of the St Lawrence River could see some snow followed by a more or less extended period of freezing rain before a changeover to rain.
The low will then move northeastward on Sunday giving a mix of rain and snow to the east of the province.
Rainfall amounts could be significant over several regions of the Gaspe Peninsula.
Track of this system becomes clearer, but still remains uncertain. Type and amount of precipitation will be highly variable depending on the track of the low.
Road conditions could be difficult during the weekend. Adjust your travel plans.
