Special Weather Statement

Issued at 10:42 Monday 23 January 2017

A return to snowy weather on Tuesday.

A low tracking towards the American Eastern Seaboard will affect Quebec beginning Tuesday. Snow, at times heavy, is expected to start gradually Tuesday morning over Central Quebec. These conditions will then spread eastward.

15 to 25 centimetres of snow and ice pellets are likely. Accumulations will vary depending on how much ice pellets will fall.

Strong winds and blowing snow are also expected over the North Shore.

The poor weather conditions could lead to transportation delays.
