Local winter driving conditions developing later this evening, but improving by Monday morning.

Wet snow is expected to develop from west to east across portions of southern Ontario later this evening. Snowfall amounts are expected to average 5 cm in most places with up to 10 cm in a few locales.

Slippery conditions are expected on untreated surfaces later this evening and overnight. Visibilities may be reduced at times in the snow.

Snow will taper off prior to the Monday morning commute with temperatures rising above the freezing mark.
