Flurries and brief snow squalls continue to affect areas near Georgian Bay this evening. Occasional bursts of heavy snow can give a quick few centimetres in a short period of time. Total local snowfall amounts of 5 to 10 cm are likely by the time conditions improve tonight.
Poor winter driving conditions due to occasional low visibility in blowing snow or bursts of heavier snow are expected. Motorists should allow extra time to reach their destination.
The lake effect snow activity is expected to diminish tonight as a high pressure ridge moves in.
