Accumulating snow associated with an Alberta Clipper will continue into this evening.
Snow began Monday night over eastern Ontario. Total snowfall accumulation from this event of 15 to 20 cm are likely by this evening. This snowfall event will stretch over a 24 to 36 hour period. Latest indications show that the snowfall warning threshold of 15 cm per 12 hours is not expected to be reached.
The snow will slowly taper off to flurries tonight. Northwest winds gusting to 50 km/h are also expected tonight, which may result in local blowing snow leading to reduced visibilities.
Poor winter driving conditions are expected. Untreated roads may become snow covered and slippery.
