Special Weather Statement

Issued at 21:33 Sunday 10 December 2017

Widespread snowfall likely Monday and Monday night.

An approaching Alberta Clipper will spread an area of snow into Central Ontario beginning later on Monday. The snow will begin to taper off later on Monday night with a general snowfall of 5 to 10 cm appearing likely.

Although localized higher amounts of 10 to 15 cm are possible, snowfall warnings are not expected as amounts will be less than the 15 cm per 12 hour threshold required.

Poor winter driving conditions are expected to continue as a result.

Environment Canada will continue to monitor this situation and update statements accordingly.
