Freezing Rain WarningIssued at 19:05 Sunday 26 March 2017
Somewhat patchy and intermittent freezing rain will continue to affect the regions into the evening hours.
Temperatures in most regions are expected to climb above the freezing mark by about mid evening.
However for areas near the Ottawa Valley, the colder air may persist until after midnight, thus prolonging the freezing rain threat in these locales.
Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery.
Freezing rain warnings are issued when rain falling in sub-zero temperatures creates ice build-up and icy surfaces.
