Snowfall, with total amounts of 15 to 20 cm continues.
A low pressure system approaching from Lake Superior will track across the region and snow will continue to be heavy at times.
Total snowfall amounts of 15 to 20 cm are expected from this snowstorm by early this morning.
Motorists should allow extra time to reach their destination.
Snow will become lighter and a little more intermittent this morning in the wake of this disturbance. The snow will become continuous later today as a second low pressure system approaches from the southwest.
Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow.
Snowfall warnings are issued when significant snowfall is expected.
