A significant rainfall event is in progress.

A slow moving upper disturbance over Lake Huron is expected to generate significant rainfall amounts over much of Eastern Ontario. Periods of rain, heavy at times, will continue today into tonight with widespread total rainfall amounts of 50 to 100 mm by Tuesday morning. Local rainfall amounts up to 200 mm are likely, especially vicinity the St. Lawrence Valley.
