Summary

Snowfall, with total amounts of about 15 cm is expected.

Snow has begun in Windsor and will become heavy at times this afternoon and move eastward. The main snow event is expected to end near midnight, however, a few flurries or local snow squalls are possible south of Lake Huron early Thursday.

Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow.

Summary

Accumulating snowfall of 10 to 15 cm is expected.

A low pressure system will bring another round of accumulating snowfall to the region beginning early this afternoon. Snowfall amounts near 10 cm are expected, with locally higher amounts between 10 to 15 cm possible south of the city of London.

The snow will begin to ease towards midnight.

Poor winter driving conditions are expected. Untreated roads may become snow covered and slippery.

Environment Canada will continue to monitor this situation and will update statements accordingly.
