An area of rain is affecting southwestern Ontario early this morning. This rain will taper off by daybreak for most regions.
Another area of rain is expected to move into the area this afternoon and persist into the evening. The rain may fall heavily at times.
Some areas may see 20 to 40 millimetres of rain by late this evening.
The rainfall is associated with a developing low pressure system that will cross the lower Great Lakes.
