Significant snowfall likely beginning Monday night and continuing Tuesday.
A strong low pressure system tracking across the Southern States will reach the Eastern Seaboard on Monday. It will track up the East Coast Monday night and Tuesday.
Snow is expected to develop Monday night across much of Southern Ontario but become heavy at times over Eastern Ontario. The snow will continue on Tuesday with snowfall amounts potentially exceeding 15 centimetres by the time it winds down Tuesday night.
Snowfall warnings may be required for Eastern Ontario as the snowfall forecast becomes more certain.
Travellers should be aware of accumulating snow and lower visibility Monday night and Tuesday.
