Another heat event is expected for the remainder of the week.
A prolonged period with maximum daily temperatures of 29 degrees or above and minimum overnight temperatures near 18 degrees is expected for Wednesday through Friday.
A ridge of high pressure will bring warmer temperatures to parts of northwestern Ontario Wednesday through Friday. This heat warning may be expanded into other areas of northwestern Ontario over the next day or two as the warm airmass continues to flow in from the Prairies.
