Freezing Rain WarningIssued at 04:31 Monday 27 March 2017
With temperatures early this morning stubbornly remaining near or just below the zero degree mark, areas of freezing rain continue to affect the region.
The freezing rain will change over to rain later this morning to around midday as temperatures slowly edge above the zero degree mark.
Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery.
Freezing rain warnings are issued when rain falling in sub-zero temperatures creates ice build-up and icy surfaces.
