Strong winds that may cause damage are expected or occurring.
Southeast or easterly winds gusting to 130 km/h are expected to develop on Wednesday for areas prone to enhanced downslope winds. Wind speeds will ease late Wednesday evening as they shift strong southwesterly. However, winds are expected to increase and approach warning criteria again on Thursday.
Damage to buildings, such as to roof shingles and windows, may occur.
Wind warnings are issued when there is a significant risk of damaging winds.
