Special Weather Statement

A low pressure system will develop south of the Great Lakes region tonight and approach the Maritimes on Tuesday.

Snow will begin over western New Brunswick Tuesday morning and spread to the remainder of the province during the day. A changeover to rain will occur Tuesday afternoon along the Fundy coast. Snow will change to rain throughout New Brunswick Tuesday night. There is a risk of freezing rain during the changeover.

Over northern and central areas of the province, significant snowfall accumulation is likely and warning criteria of 15 cm may be exceeded.
