A developing low pressure system will approach the Maritimes from the southwest on Wednesday. Snowfall ahead of the low is expected to begin Wednesday morning over southern New Brunswick and will spread northward throughout the day. The potential exists for snowfall to reach warning criteria of 15 cm or more before tapering off Thursday morning. Areas along the Bay of Fundy may also see a switch over to rain with the risk of freezing rain early Thursday morning.
