Special Weather Statement

An intense low pressure system will approach New Brunswick on Tuesday. This system will bring snow, ice pellets and freezing rain to the province beginning Tuesday morning. The precipitation is expected to change to rain later on Tuesday or Tuesday night but could persist as snow for northernmost areas. Precipitation and strong winds are expected to continue into Wednesday. Total precipitation amounts are difficult to pinpoint at this time but are likely to be significant.
