Snowfall, with total amounts of 15 to 25 cm is expected.
An intensifying area of low pressure currently near the Great Lakes will track towards the Maritimes on Tuesday. Light snow ahead of the low will develop over New Brunswick Tuesday morning then intensify later in the day. Total snowfall amounts of 15 to 25 centimetres is expected before changing over to showers on Wednesday.
Strong winds combined with snow could lead to a reduction in visibility in blowing snow for some areas.
Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow.
