Snowfall, with total amounts of 15 to 25 cm is expected.
A Pacific front moving across the BC Interior is spreading snow to the region this morning.
Snow is expected to taper off later today as the front exits the province.
Rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult over some locations. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow.
Weather in the mountains can change suddenly resulting in hazardous driving conditions.
Snowfall warnings are issued when significant snowfall is expected.
