Snowfall, with total amounts of 20 to 25 cm is expected.
A Pacific frontal system has produced near 15 cm of snow over Highway 3 from Paulson Summit to Kootenay Pass last night. Additional
snow accumulations up to 10 cm can be expected by this evening before the snow eases.
Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow.
Weather in the mountains can change suddenly resulting in hazardous driving conditions.
