Fog AdvisoryIssued at 04:43 Tuesday 25 October 2016
Near zero visibility in fog is expected or occurring.
Widespread fog has developed across central Alberta overnight with visibilities at times near zero. Along with the fog, areas of drizzle have developed and in some regions where temperatures have dropped below zero, freezing drizzle is occurring. Travel will be affected due to the near-zero visibilities and slippery road conditions. The widespread fog and drizzle will continue through to late this morning for most of Central Alberta, and into the early afternoon for regions in East-central Alberta.
Visibility may be significantly and suddenly reduced to near zero. Travel is expected to be hazardous due to reduced visibility.
Fog advisories are issued when near zero visibilities in fog are expected or occurring.
