Issued atThrough mid-morning, locations within the Devils Lake basin,southern Red River Valley, and Sheyenne River Valley can expect abrief period of moderate to heavy snow, along with light freezingrain. Greatly reduced visibility under heavy snow, quick snowaccumulations of 1 to 4 inches, and potentially slick roads willmake for hazardous travel conditions during the morning commute.Late morning through the afternoon, brief moderate to heavy snowand light freezing rain will still be present across the area.However, snow and ice accumulations may be limited by warm groundtemperatures, limiting impacts to travel conditions outside ofareas of heavier snow.After sunset this evening, snow is forecast in northwest Minnesota,with light freezing rain possibly lingering across the areatonight.
