* LOCATION...THE SANGRE DE CRISTO MOUNTAINS ABOVE 11000 FEET.

* CAUSE AND TIMING...A STORM SYSTEM WILL BRING PERIODS OF SNOW TO
THE REGION THROUGH EARLY TUESDAY MORNING. THE NEXT ROUND OF
HEAVIER SNOW IS EXPECTED TO FALL THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING.

* SNOW ACCUMULATION...STORM TOTALS OF 8 TO 12 INCHES.

* WIND...WEST TO SOUTHWEST 30 TO 45 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 65 MPH.

* IMPACT...ROADS WILL REMAIN SLICK AND SNOWPACKED THROUGH
TUESDAY MORNING...WITH POOR VISIBILITIES IN BLOWING SNOW ACROSS
THE PASSES AND EXPOSED AREAS.
