Severe Thunderstorm WatchIssued at 21:18 Wednesday 31 August 2016
Conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms that may be capable of producing strong wind gusts, large hail and heavy rain.
Thunderstorms moving across southeast Alberta and southwest Saskatchewan have the potential to produce severe weather this evening and possibly into the overnight hours.
Large hail can damage property and cause injury. Remember, severe thunderstorms can produce tornadoes. Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads.
