Frost Advisory

Issued at 15:20 Thursday 16 September 2021

Frost may damage some crops in frost-prone areas.

A ridge of high pressure entering the province from Alberta will bring clearing skies and light winds to parts of western Saskatchewan overnight tonight into Friday morning.

Overnight lows are expected to fall to the -1 to 0 degree mark overnight before rebounding on Friday.

A warmer air mass will keep the province above the freezing mark on the weekend.

Frost advisories are issued when temperatures are expected to reach the freezing mark during the growing season, leading to potential damage and destruction to plants and crops.
