Severe Thunderstorm WarningIssued at 21:21 Saturday 26 May 2018
At 9:21 p.m. CST, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a cluster of severe thunderstorms capable of producing very strong wind gusts, up to nickel size hail and heavy rain.
This cluster of severe thunderstorms is currently located from near Briercrest to Edgeley and is tracking to the northeast at 20 kilometers per hour.
Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads. Large hail can damage property and cause injury. Strong wind gusts can toss loose objects, damage weak buildings, break branches off trees and overturn large vehicles. Remember, severe thunderstorms can produce tornadoes.

Conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms that may be capable of producing strong wind gusts and large hail.
A cold front is passing through Saskatchewan this evening. The passage of this cold front is triggering some thunderstorm activity. Some of these thunderstorms may become severe.
The cold front and risk of severe thunderstorms will continue eastward this evening. This severe thunderstorm watch may be extended eastward later in the evening.
Remember, severe thunderstorms can produce tornadoes.
Severe thunderstorm watches are issued when atmospheric conditions are favourable for the development of thunderstorms that could produce one or more of the following: large hail, damaging winds, torrential rainfall.
