Strong winds that may cause damage are expected or occurring.
An intense Pacific low pressure system over the BC north coast will track across the northern Interior tonight. As the low passes to the north, winds over the BC Peace River region will intensify. Southwest winds will increase up to 70 km/h with gusts to 90 after midnight then ease Tuesday morning as the low moves into Alberta.
High winds may toss loose objects or cause tree branches to break.
