To our iPhone app users:
Thank you for upgrading to the new iPhone app. We apologize for any difficulty you may be experiencing. We have identified inconsistent results for some users attempting to access our premium version through the iTunes App Store. We are currently working both internally and with Apple on resolving the issue and hope to issue a fix shortly. We greatly appreciate your feedback and patience and will communicate updates as they come.
A recent update seems to have caused this issue. The solution is to clear your cookies and cache for theweathernetwork.com within the browser. Please note - this will remove your saved locations if you are not signed in. (Sign up for a free account!)
Here are instructions for clearing the cache and cookies in Safari:
- Go to Safari and click on Preferences
- Choose Privacy
- Click on “details” under the Cookies and website data section
- Search for theweathernetwork.com and select it
- Click Remove
You can change to Fahrenheit or to Celsius on the desktop site either by clicking directly on the temperature next to the weather icon on the forecast page, or by clicking on the °C or °F at the very top of the page, in the grey bar.
On the mobile website please find these settings by clicking on the "hamburger menu" icon, and scrolling to the bottom of the menu.
